Selig stickin’ around

Bud Selig
MLB.com reports that Bud Selig’s contract has been extended through 2012. WTF? Could this be good for the steroids investigation? Do we need a new person in office? Bud has his haters (everyone?) but, could continuity be good for baseball right now? Please weigh in….

I don’t hate Bud like everyone else hates Bud. The game was on its death-bed after the strike and now, gotta say, its thriving. He for sure has his problems, but i think his rep is worse than reality. Then again, I’m like the only Reds/Pete Rose fan that thinks he should not be in the Hall Of Fame- yet.

Yep, I hear ya. I’m not sure the game is thriving right now – at least not compared to the NFL. But, much, much better since the strike. I have to think keeping Bud around while the steroid stuff is going on is good. If someone else where to come in, it would be a huge setback. Bud now has control over his legacy in baseball now, let’s hope he does something great with it.

I’m thinking domestic abuse can’t hurt his legacy:

    Well done, Bud.
