Cincinnati.com article does a nice job clearing up who the Reds’ NLDS opponent could be depending on the outcome of Phillies-Braves and Padres-Giants on Sunday (and possibly games on Monday and Tuesday). It really is pretty crazy that right now there are three different teams who the Reds could face – Phillies, Padres or Giants – depending on how it plays out. So much for the assumption when the weekend started that the Phillies were going to be our first-round opponent!
Also, how great is it that the Cardinals have won four in a row and 8 of their last 10! And they’re STILL not going to the playoffs!
