The inaugural #RedsTweetUp is going to be tough to beat. Don’t let that stop you from gettin’ down to the yard Friday night! Not only will you get the chance to exchange awkward handshakes with some of the fellas at OMGreds, you’ll also get to see Reds batting practice – a rarity for us Reds fans. Oh, and a fancy t-shirt (above) will also come with a very reasonably priced field level ticket – $25, regularly $34.

Deets from Reds.com/TweetUp

The Cincinnati Reds have a special evening planned for our Twitter fans during the Battle of Ohio. Catch the Reds vs. Cleveland Indians on Friday, July 1st in our special TweetUp Section at Great American Ball Park along with several of Cincinnati’s favorite Sports Bloggers and Tweeters. The group will be located in the Field Box seats (section 136) where seats are only $25 (regularly $34).

To make the deal even better, the $25 ticket price includes a free t-shirt, early admission to the ballpark (beginning at 4:40 p.m.) to catch Reds batting practice, and a post-game fireworks show! Reds Twitter Fans will also have the opportunity to mingle with many “celebrity tweeters” that will be on hand to participate in the night’s festivities.

Also, while your there, make sure you head over to Mo Egger’s Mr. Red’s Smokehouse Wing Eating Contest. Should be a doozy.

… before the game, we’re having a wing eating contest. We’re looking for two contestants to go with the three we’ve already chosen online. If you think you have what it takes to cram chunks of meat down your throat, show up in the GABP Fan Zone about 6:00 or so tomorrow night. It’ll sorta be like this….

More from Mo…

You’ve got until midnight tonight to snag #RedsTweetUp tickets, so hop to it.
