Jesse winker is the next “it” man. Very promising lefty, with the bat and the glove.

  2. Tonester5No Gravatar

I’m looking forward to seeing how Donald Lutz, Ryan LaMarre, Tucker Barnhart, and Tanner Rahier progress this coming season.

I think the next “it” guy will be Jesse Winker.

  3. Joe GarchowNo Gravatar

I am thinking that Robert Stephenson is going to be the next prospect that breaks into the Big Show!

  4. Zach WNo Gravatar

    Jesse Winker

  5. Brian S.No Gravatar

You’ve got to go with Stephenson. He really came into his own over the 2013 season and with Arroyo gone, he may need to be big league ready in case the pitching staff gets dealt another injury in 2014. Step into the same role Cingrani played for the Reds in 2013.

  6. Nathan whittNo Gravatar

In the near future I am excited to see Stephenson because he could be a very dominating MLB pitcher with his mixture of speed and control. He would also be a great option if we do not sign Holmer long term. The other prospect I’m excited about is Ervin. He showed that he can really hit in his short time in the minors last year and could very well be our best hitting prospect right now.

  7. Robert Stephenson is a beast!

  8. James PriceNo Gravatar

Has to Stephenson, we are going to need him to step into a huge role, with arroyo gone probably. He will be the standout guy next year.

  9. Chris LewisNo Gravatar

Any of the prospects would be nice. However, my daughter and I are hoping for Tucker. Hell of a nice kid. He took the time to take picture with my daughter when we saw him at the grocery store. Needless to say my daughter was pumped and is truly a Reds fan.

  10. Stephenson is the next one I’m excited to see, but I don’t expect him this year. I would love to see Barnhart succeed, especially if Mesoraco falters again (that’s assuming Hanigan is traded).

  11. Aaron MooreNo Gravatar

Really like Tucker Barnhart but I hope Robert Stephenson is able to come in and help us have another dominating pitcher!

  12. I’m looking forward to Robert Stephenson. Been watching him for a long time, and the kid has pure talent. Nice guy also.

  13. Ethan LawrenceNo Gravatar

He may not be the next “it” prospect, but I’m definitely excited to see Tucker Barnhart continue his climb through the minors purely because I’m born and raised in central Indiana and he’s a local kid. Plus it doesn’t hurt that he seems like a genuinely nice guy that you can’t help but root for.

  14. Caleb MitchenerNo Gravatar

Robert Stephenson and Tucker Barnhart are my two. Exciting to watch Stephenson progress through the minors and I can’t wait to see him in the bigs. Barnhart is an awesome defensive catcher and is our future at that position. Hope to see both next weekend!

  15. StevenNo Gravatar

Tucker B. I’m excited to see he and Mes take the catcher position in to the future!

  16. Cole ParzychNo Gravatar

Donald Lutz is a prospect who has the “it” factor. He’s big, strong and has a smooth swing. Id love to seem him in LF in the upcoming seasons because of the hustle and heart he brings to the table. He showed us what he had this season while he was up and he really impressed.

  17. Mike D.No Gravatar

The next “it” guy looks like Jessie Winker.

  18. Roy SayreNo Gravatar

    Jesse Winker hands down

  19. RichNo Gravatar

Jesse winkler is definitely the Reds’ next “it” guy

  20. Tim JobeNo Gravatar

    Jesse Winkler no doubt!

  21. i think tucker barnhart

  22. Jesse Jesse he’s my man if he can”t do it, nobody can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Jesse Winker

  23. Stacy WrightNo Gravatar

Im just excited to see any of the up and coming youngsters, The reds need a young man to have a bat glove and most of all a HEART. Jesse Winkler or Robert Stephenson will be a great asset to r team. Either of them will be the next “IT'” guy for the reds.

  24. Andrew EilerNo Gravatar

Jesse Winkers. Good average, good power, and good plate approach. Saw him play last year in South Bend and he is just a good overal hitter.

  25. Scott GilkeyNo Gravatar

Stephenson. The Reds need the young pitching to come thru.

  26. Adam mccaffertyNo Gravatar

I say for sure Robert Stephenson. He has a variety of pitches and chances speeds very well. I think we will be our number pitcher in a couple of years. He is coming along well

  27. Robert Stephenson is a beast. Always – NEED. MORE. PITCHING.

  28. sara cheesemanNo Gravatar

Tucker Barnhart… My hope is that he can be the next Hanigan!!!

  29. Brandon C.No Gravatar

Stephenson. Keep building a solid pitching core, keep making the playoffs.

  30. Christopher RodriguezNo Gravatar

I love this year’s top pick Phil Ervin. He’s got such a quick compact swing and consistenyl stays inside the ball. Most importantly his feel for the strike zone is beyond his age and his OBP is going to be his calling card both in the minors and when he reaches the big leagues.
