So, watcha get?

Kick-Ass Nike Reds Hoodie
Anyone out there in Redsland get any fun Reds stuff for Christmas? Santa brought me a few books, a Reds World Series DVD, a pretty sweet hoodie and a box of Topps 206. Of course, the best thing we all got was time with our families!

We hope everyone had wonderful Christmas... or if you don't celebrate... a GREAT Friday :)

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Barry Larkin Bobblehead
A Merry Christmas to all our loyal fans this holiday season. We hope that you and yours are enjoying this wonderful time of the year.

We've slowed our roll here at OMGreds a bit lately, taking a break from the hot hot hot stove that is our beloved Cincinnati Reds. Don't fret though, we're plotting scheming for 2010 and preparing for what analysts predict to be a breakout season. A breakout season for OMGreds... you didn't think... haha... yeah... well... we're hoping for the best too.

Anyways, have a great Christmas!

Merry Christmas

It's a Sabo Christmas!
Merry Christmas from Chris Sabo's Bobblehead and OMGreds. Have a great holiday, yo.

UPDATE! While heading out on Christmas Eve, my wife and I just happened to catch a great segment on NPR where a tape of Red Barber's recreated call of the final out of the second of Johnny Vander Meer's no-hitter was played. Here's the summary from NPR:

Baseball broadcaster Jon Miller talks about a recently discovered recording of a baseball play-by-play that was made 41 years after the actual game took place. At a broadcasters' conference in Orlando in 1979, Red Barber recorded a gripping play-by-play of a 1938 game at Brooklyn's Ebbets Field.
