Go Cyclones!

Go 'Clones!

Go 'Clones!

OMGreds.com had a change of pace tonight. Instead of watching the Reds and Padres battle on TV, we headed to the Cyclones game. This was game one of the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals. The Cyclones are now up 1-0 on the Las Vegas Wolfpack and quite possibly on their way to winning Cincinnati’s first championship in nearly 18 years – since the 1990 Reds. You have to cheer that on, right?

The Natural playing on Fountain Square

We stopped by Fountain Square for a few to catch some of “The Natural”. There were quite a few people on the square enjoying the beautiful night and watching the movie.

I always forget to bring a damn pen to the game to play the rally game. Luckily, Kari had the hookup on a writing utensil.

The Ohio Cup – It’s real!

The Ohio Cup
Here’s a pretty bad photo of the Ohio Cup inside the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. I stopped by to get a photo during the game, but the HOf closes at 8:00 – so no chance to get inside for a good shot.

So yeah, it’s pretty damn big. Maybe I’ll get a better photo tomorrow.
