PING: Well, at least they have Votto on the right color for this card – red. What can I say about this card? Triple Threads get boring for me pretty quickly, and I only have two of them. Numbered 161/1350, this isn’t the rarest card out there… so it’s doesn’t have much to hang it’s hat on. Other than featuring RBI-machine Joey Votto.

PING: Serial numbered 450/252. A nice, pleasant set of numbers. Not sure that I’m too jacked up about Topps Triple Threads. There’s nothing that jumps out at me about the design that is bad, it just is what it is. Maybe it just doesn’t seem to baseball card like to me. Of course, this set is all about the parallels… so you know what that means… the quest is on.
